Yep, it's Mother's Day. We, that's me and my brother, bought mum some flowers and a cute card with a bear on it, holding a bunch of roses. Well, we didn't buy roses, but the card was, as I said, cute and I couldn't resist buying it. Mum was happy to get the flowers, and we were happy that she liked them. Would've been awkward if she didn't.
We spent the day out on a soccer field in the pouring rain, and it felt like it was all in vain. Oh, now I'm starting to do rhymes, also. Great. Just great.
Anyhow, my brother's team lost against a bunch of boys that were one year older than them. Also it was just a one goal difference, so I think they did great.
Then when we finally got home, the rain stayed at where we just left and the sun was shining again. Good. Because it was good weather when we left this morning, I took on my favourite shorts. Guess if I did regret it...
It's time for bed soon and tomorrow it's Monday again. Just eight days away from the biggest and greatest break we have; summer break! Feels good knowing I'm leaving my first year in college with good grades. Well, good is an understatement. Fantastic grades. I can't help but feeling proud of myself. I mean... I even have good grades in math now. I was so close to failing before coming to college. And now... it's so unreal. But I'm not complaining!
